Artist Statement
My intent is to make images with spontaneity and joy. Intentionally bright colors gives me a way to celebrate the relationships I find between animals and people. It is important to me that my work has an emotional intelligence even though there are also strong precepts of sentimentality.

About Me
Currently I live and work in South Minneapolis with my husband, dog, cat and bunny. I graduated in 2003 with a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Going to the dog park is a part of my daily routine and I feel so lucky that this city has such a great selection of beautiful parks to choose from. I want to surround myself with people who share the same kind of energy and empathy towards living things and art as I do.
